Cobra Long Drive Team member Jason Zuback, five-time winner of the
RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship and the most decorated athlete
in power golf, will be showcasing his long-drive skills at Play Golf
America Day on May 12 at Grantwood Golf Course, Solon, Ohio.
Attendees will be able to witness first hand Zuback's long-drive
prowess during his two educational clinics at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
In 2006, Zuback won the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship for
a record breaking fifth time, having also held the title from
1996-99. This former amateur power lifter owns the fastest ball
speed ever measured by the Titleist Launch Monitor (215 mph), and is
the holder of the longest drive ever recorded in the final round of
the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship (412 yards 2 feet 3.5
inches). Zuback's personal long-drive best is 506 yards.
"We are extremely excited to have Jason Zuback attending this
year's Play Golf America Day," said Dominic Antenucci, executive
director of the Northern Ohio PGA. "His long-drive exhibition and
educational clinics put an exclamation point on what promises to be
a great day packed with fun for amateur golfers."
Play Golf America Day attendees will also have the opportunity to
win more than $3,000 in golf outings and equipment at this year's
event. There will be prize drawings throughout the day, which
include: foursomes at Stonewater Golf Club, Little Mountain Country
Club, Madison Country Club, Aurora Golf & Country Club, Signature of
Solon, Grantwood Golf Course, Avon Oaks Country Club, Red Tail Golf
