HomeTown Golf and Reach Event Marketing (REM) announced a strategic
partnership with the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association (GCGA).
HomeTown Golf, a publication of REM, a local sports marketing and
publication firm, will produce three issues in conjunction with the
GCGA for 2007 including an annual Golf Guide along with summer and
fall issues.
Included in each
issue of HomeTown Golf will be a special section devoted solely to
GCGA coverage and the magazine will be mailed to every member of the
GCGA as part of the agreement.
About HomeTown Golf
HomeTown Golf has covered the Greater Cincinnati and
Dayton
area since 2000 and is published by Reach Event Marketing.
It is considered
a targeted golf publication and along with GCGA coverage will
include an editorial focus on local courses, player features,
tournament coverage, golf destinations, instruction and local news
and happenings.
The magazine will
have a total distribution of 25,000 and outside of GCGA membership
will also be mailed to individual subscribers and select local
businesses throughout the region and distributed to other non-GCGA
member golf courses.
About GCGA
The Greater
Cincinnati Golf Association is organized to promote and conserve the
amateur game of golf in Greater Cincinnati.
Founded in 1905,
the GCGA has operated as a non-profit unincorporated organization
until its incorporation on Dec. 31, 2001.
Recognized by the
USGA as the area’s governing body in all aspects of the game, the
GCGA currently serves over 100 member clubs and more than 23,000
individual golfers.
Managed by a
Board of Governors who give freely of their time, knowledge and
energies, and backed by a committee team of volunteers, the GCGA is
able to provide a wide range of services that among others includes
tournament management, course and slope ratings and handicapping. |
